It is a great opportunity for me to extend an invitation to the members of the Korea & China Association of Fashion Industry-Academy (KCAFIA).
The KCAFIA has promoted cultural and costume industry exchanges between Korea and China over the past 8 years. Annual exhibitions have been held in Beijing, Wuhan, Dalian, Wuxi, and Seoul.
Especially, this year we organized an International Conference and Wearable Art-to-Wear Exhibition at China Sichuan University (Chengdu Art Museum), with participation from 7 countries: Korea, China, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. I strongly believe that young designers, students, and professors gained valuable opportunities to learn about world culture and the academic direction of costume and fashion industry through this international conference.
Most of our members are working actively with international experience and intensive interest in balanced cultural design sensibilities. I believe this will go a long way in enhancing our mutual knowledge and will allow for further collaborative efforts in the future.

I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the organizers of this event.
This gathering provides a valuable opportunity to promote cultural exchange and friendship between our two countries, to gain insight into current trends in the fashion industry and academia, and to share related knowledge and information.
Through this event, I hope to further strengthen the academic, cultural, and industrial ties between our countries, thereby laying the cornerstone for the advancement of fashion scholarship and industry. Furthermore, I look forward to establishing a sustainable framework for international cooperation.
I firmly believe that this endeavor will significantly enhance our mutual understanding and pave the way for deeper collaboration in the future.

한국패션협회 회장What a joy it is to have friends coming from afar!
In July 2009, more than 50 experts of clothing higher education and famous fashion designers gathered in Chengdu and visited Sichuan Normal University. We express our sincere and warm welcome as well as our great honor!
Your arrival is an excellent opportunity for deepening mutual understanding, communication, exchanges, and promoting friendship between the participating countries. I believe that through this seminar, we can not only achieve fruitful results in academic exchanges, but also benefit in aspects such as increasing the ability of the apparel industry to deal with the financial crisis, discussing multi-cultural integration, promoting environmental protection, and exploring institutional innovation of clothing higher education in colleges and universities.
Clothing is a carrier of culture, and nowadays multi-cultures grow and dissolve together. Let us take clothing as a means of communication and carry out academic discussions and exchanges. The seminar must have a certain impact on the development of the economic, financial, and educational fields of participating countries. In particular, you, our respected guests, bring the good wishes of the people in participating countries to the Chinese people in terms of China's economic development and social progress.
At this point, I express my heartfelt thanks once again on behalf of all the teachers and students of Sichuan Normal University, and the people in Chengdu and Sichuan.
I wish the seminar a complete success!

First of all, I would like to congratulate the Korea & China Association of Fashion Industry-Academy, China Sichuan Normal University, and related agencies for their remarkable collaboration between China and South Korea in organizing the "Fashion Exhibition 200."
This is a great opportunity for participants to demonstrate their abilities in fashion design.
We will strengthen the Korea & China Association of Fashion Industry-Academy further and help improve the competitiveness of the Korean fashion industry by conducting studies and business related to the Chinese fashion industry more systematically through the exhibition and show.
This event will provide a unique opportunity for Chinese youth, designers, and the general public to learn from the valuable experiences of renowned Chinese and Korean designers.
It is my belief that this event will be a good start for the fashion education establishments in China, as well as the design industry as a whole, to see the breadth of work that will be on display from around Asia.
I would like to express my thanks to China Sichuan Normal University and all the organizations that made this event possible.
